ADMINISTRATORS

   Frank Mediavilla - Owner

Frank established Gold Medal Athletics in January 2008.  He started his cheerleading as a University of Central Florida Cheerleader 1995-1999. His team ranked 3rd in the Nation and he also participated in college partner stunting and placed 11th in the country. He had the honor of having his uniform retired at UCF where he also was awarded the leadership award. In 2000, Frank founded University C.A.T.S./UCF Allstars which competed and won multiple National Championships. He has impacted the community by helping to support local schools and organizations throughout Central Florida. He is a great mentor to our students here at GMA! CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED

   Marlene Alvarez - Gym Manager

Marlene has been working at GMA since the summer of 2009, mostly working the day shift doing the “behind the scenes” work to help the gym prepare for the day. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and taught for 4 years in Orange County. Marlene participated in several sports growing up including gymnastics where she competed till the age of 14. She coached gymnastics for 5 years and then became the Gym Manager for 3 years at University C.A.T.S. when Frank was the owner. With Marlene’s administrative, teaching and coaching background, she is an important addition to the team. CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED

INSTRUCTORS

   Adrian Dupa - Instructor/Birthday Host

Adrian was born in Fort Hood, Texas however because his father was in the military they moved around the world often. He attended Oviedo High School and relocated here a few years ago. Adrian did gymnastics for a few years and then was trained to coach. He has a passion for teaching tumbling to all ages and looks forward to helping your child succeed.
